"Hi I'm Melody on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to continue on showing you how to use the tools that I've been showing you and start a composition so you can get an idea of how to lay out something that you decided that you want to paint. We'll start by having those tools that I was talking about before, pencil, I usually have a couple of gummy erasers preferable not pink if possible they do come in a beige color neutral color that possibly the best one. Then they do have an art grey one that doesn't leave marks if your using a canvass or paper. So this is what we'll stat with we'll go okay I've decided and you'll have a picture maybe of a farm or a picture of a flower arrangement in vase. You take your paper and make lines on it turning it into sections of quarters and you can use a scale of one inch or two inches equals two inches I would use something like this for my first time big boxes and what you'll actually do is if your going to use this half of your paper or canvass. Then just do this section your going to be using you may not want to make a huge painting on your first time. So you'll just do this a little bit more neatly. I'm just doing it this way for demonstration but you make lines all the way down the page everything being equal and then you do it again by the sides. I'm just going to take it from the top line. Just follow the ruler. You get the idea all the way down the page. You can actually buy paper and mylar is actually boxed for you and sometimes that is best to do. We'll come back in another segment and finish showing you how to start your composition."
