"Now we're ready to talk about actually glazing over your picture. There are lots of different glazing. There is laminate, glass, plexi, liquid laminate. They all do there own things about the pictures. Clear glass has no protection other than it reflects the light right back to you. Laminates all have the laminates we use, all have UV protection in them which is going to help save your picture, it also helps make it lighter on the wall so it's not as pulling to your wall. If it was to fall and break, your frame will break but your picture would survive. But with glass if you dropped your frame, your glass would break your picture would be scratched, your matte would be scratched. You'll be pretty back at the store doing it again. With the plexi glass, they have UV protections and they have some that don't have UV protection. We choose to use the non PVC gas throwing plexi glass due to the fact that PVC would cause your picture to turn yellow, the gases that throws off. So it's all in the quality in the product to use as to how long the life of your picture will last."
