"So what I have basically done with the sky here is I have used a darker blue paint up on the top and then I have let that come down. I've mixed some white with the blue and created a lighter blue as it fades down behind the mountains. What that will do eventually when I finish painting everything else it will give that a look of it being more in the distance. Because if you look out at the natural sky thats what happens it's darker above and lighter below. So I am back to working with the same yellow and same green as before and here I am just mixing them together to create a medium tone so I can start playing with these low hills running down behind the tiger. So I am just basically playing around here with the yellow and the green to create distance and at the same time different textures, just two colors but you can create a lot of different feelings and trees in the distance, just a blending together. It's hard to explain."
