"So regarding the mural for the India Palace restaurant. The first thing I'm going to do, is a very, very rough sketch. I can remember the layouts of the room. So I'm going to do a, almost like an architectural drawing of that layout. And I'm just going to start doing really rough ideas of where I want to place things in the painting. When I've done that, I may do two or three more sketches. Until I have something that I can show the owner, that I'm happy with. Holding a visual memory of the layout of the room, where I'm going to do the mural. I've just done a very rough architectural sketch of the walls that I'm going to be painting on. So now I'm going to start doing some very rough ideas of where I want to place things in the mural. The whole idea of this mural, is that there will be a lot of foreground activity. And then distant going off into mountains and cloudy sky. So I want people to have a feeling of really being inside this mural, while they're eating at the restaurant. So I've already made this rough architectural sketch of the walls that I will be painting the mural on, at the restaurant. And one of the things that I want to point out, is that another artist, several years ago. Painted a painting of the Taj Mahal on the restaurant wall. Just kind of floating there. And he also painted a tiger sitting amongst a little bit of grass. They were both sort of floating on the wall. So, what I spoke to the owner. I told him, I'd like to keep those. Although, I will over paint them in my style. So I'll use the basic shape but I will over paint it."
