In this free video series, an artist and painter will teach you how to paint a wall mural starting with an empty wall. Soon, you'll move on to painting the main line, using the shadow method, and determining the order in which you work. Finally, you'll learn the more detailed aspects of drawing a mural, including landscapes, characters, and adding depth. "Hi, my name is Paul Lawrence Curtis. I'm an international visionary artist and I welcome you to my home studio. What we're going to today is I'm going to show you inside my home, show you some of the paintings that I've been working on for the past twenty years, and then I will be showing you the process of painting a mural. I've been commissioned to do a very large, four wall mural for the local India Palace restaurant. So I will be taking you through the process of how I create that mural. I will be creating a small rough sketch for the whole of the mural to show the owner, and then we will be going to the restaurant and focusing on just one section of the mural. I will be painting that whole section from beginning to end. When that's complete, then we'll pan out with the camera and show you all four walls and how the whole thing comes together."
