"Now it is the dead of winter so our character needs a scarf. Well let us start off right under his head here and we are going to make a line extending from here to here. Then let's start making all these smaller lines from the bottom of his head to the bottom of this circular line which is representing the top part of his scarf. The scarf can dangle down like so and continuing with some more lines and put some little frills at the bottom. If you want you can even make a second piece of that scarf showing right about here again little frills at the bottom. So now he looks nice and warm."
