"Let’s give this hair of ours some more detail and the way that we are going to do that is maybe fill in all of this white space here with some little squiggly lines. Do you see what I am doing here? These little squiggly lines all scattered about and these squiggly lines are going to represent all of the different hairs that he has throughout his funky head of hair. They can be straight lines, they can be curved lines, the can be squiggly lines, whatever you want. The letter S, again if we are working with letters then we could use the letter S, C, Z. if you want you could also make little sprouts at the ends, again to give more detail to your character’s hair."
