"Let’s move on now with the mouth. We are going to start off with another big wide U going from here to here. We will start off over here, bring it down, curve it up and let me thicken in this line a little bit so that it matches on the other side. At each end of that U, I am going to put a little curvy line and those curvy lines are going to act as little wrinkles in the corners of the mouth as the character smiles. And what you might want to do maybe put a thin little line here underneath that U to kind of act as a lower lip. It gives him a little bit more of a charactery look and more detail of course. If you want to get real creative you can maybe make this a very wide U and color it in so that the character’s mouth is open."
