" Hi! I'm Pete Bellessis and today I am representing expertvillage.com. Today's lesson is drawing. It's been a lot of fun. We've covered some ground here but now the most important thing to realize is you put all this time in these drawings. Your going to let them go to crap? I don't think so. You need to preserve them and there are some real simple ways to do this. Oh sure, if budgets are not a consideration, by all means frame some of these best drawings that you have maybe done today even watching me. You know what, if you don't have the money for that, there are much more cost effective ways to preserve your work. On a much smaller scale, you can do a couple of things. The first I would do once you are sure you are finished with your design is go out and buy a can of clear coat; spray can. What you will want to do is again make sure it is finished; spray it, just a nice even coat and that is going to lock everything in. If you have added color that is going to really brighten up and give those colors a nice gloss. It is going to be nice. You are just not going to have the damage that could occur if you don't do that. Another thing that is very important, think about it. ____ your paper. It is real flimsy; it's not just going to hold off. So what you could do, should do, is go out and buy yourself some poster board or a harder stock paper. Spend the money; it's not going to be much. Then you are going to buy same visit to hardware store, art store; buy yourself a can of spray adhesive. You are going to spray the back of your artwork, lay it on that harder stock, you are going to smooth it out make sure there are no air bubbles and there you have it. Now you have a piece of art that can easily hang and be taken down and put up elsewhere and be traveled with and not have to worry about the damage. "
