" Hi! I'm Pete Bellessis and I'm an art teacher. Today I represent expertvillage.com and our lesson is drawing. We need to know where we are going to buy these supplies and our first logical visit should be to the art store. We are going to find a lot of variety there in both paper, pencils and the types of erasers we need for drawing. You will probably suffer some sticker shock there but it is probably the most important visit you will make because at least then you will have an idea of what is out there and what you need to be buying. It is important to know you don't necessarily have to go to the art store to buy these supplies. It should be your first stop because you are going to find specific lead weights for pencils, you are going to find better quality erasers and you are going to find lots of varieties in the sizes of sketch pads and the quality of papers. Again, it is important to know that you are not limited to art stores. Other avenues would be grocery stores, department stores, there's Google and you could do a search for art supplies. You could also go to E-Bay, go to Craig's List. In fact Craig's List should probably be your first stop. The reason being that a lot of times the stuff on Craig's List will be free. You will get an artist that is moving from one medium into another and he or she is maybe just wanting to get rid of some of materials that are just kind of taking up room in their small studio space or apartment. I would definitely look into that. If you buy bulk you are going to save money and when it comes to something you need a lot of whether it is a eraser, pencils or that actual paper, you might find some good deals on-line and so I do suggest you try it. That's about it for now. Let's get ready to go. "
