"Hi, my name is Raj with Expert Village and I’m here today to talk a little bit about caricature art. Each artist has its own favorite type of marker that he uses. Some people prefer a pen and brush which gives a loose style. What I’m using here is a Marvy brush marker which simulates a paintbrush and that it’s got some flex to it so you can really press down and get a thick line or use the tip of it and go perpendicular to the page and get a very narrow line. So it’s a great way to get a variety of line widths and it also gives it a much more loose style. Other options are your traditional markers, wedge tipped markers, which gives it a tight detailed feel. I’ve seen other people use prismacolor a black prismacolor pencils which again, give it more of a loose artist feel. So it’s pretty, it’s open to whatever the artist is comfortable with as far as drawing materials. "
