" Hi! I’m John Junger. I do the paintings that we’re going to be talking, the watercolors. I’m here representing expertvillage.com. In this segment, I’m going to show a laid down watercolor and some very light values. I can lay in more color over that if it’s kind of damp to the touch you don’ t want it too wet, or it’ll spread out too much. Say I want to use….sponges are always handy to have around to pick up some the loose water and also you can squeeze it out and pick up more color if you’d like. In this case, I’m going to come in with a little darker color. Lay wet into wet, and depending on how I utilize the color in the water I can bring in clouds. I’m putting wet watercolor into wet watercolor. On a cloudy day, you’ve got things happening that are very nice, where your cloud edges are kind of spreading into the atmosphere. You can bring your pad up and make it run a little more, make it run backwards, make it run down. When you hold it flat it s going to stay pretty much where it is. "
