"You know, some artists get really bound up when they're doing their work and wax is a great way to loosen you up. So, here is one thing that you can do is to what I call working with hot air, and I always put down a clear layer first because that acts as the transport layer, and then let's say we're going to put a couple of little abstract, little pieces in the background just to kinda fill up, just drabs of color, nothing really exciting here. I'm just going to kinda put a couple of things in the background like that, just to get a little soft background going. Now, on top of that, let's add a little blob of color, different colors on this. I'm going to put some here, I'll put some there, I'll put some up here. I'll get a little three little sections going with different colors. I'm going to add in some orange, now a little orange on that one, a little that. Now, let's add in some blue. Okay. So, let's see, I'll put a little of this in there as well. Now, we got an interesting mix of colors. I'm going to add a little bit of metallic silver right at the base of each one of those little blobs of color like that 'cause the metallic silver runs faster than the other colors. So, now that we've got those down, I'm going to take my heavy duty Sears tool and blow the wax with some hot air and see if we can create an interesting pattern. Now, we can just finish off with a little bit of detail around each one of these. We could come back and use the hot air again, again, if you want to move some of that around, but here on the bottom side we'll put a little green to get a couple little--looks like some stems coming up and then just take the iron, put a little green on the iron and just hit a little bit of the iron on the bottom like this just to create this little fanciful, little floral pattern out of hot wax."
