"In this video clip we will be staining our project. Before staining my project I went ahead and removed my paint trays and that chain that holds it from spreading out too far. The reason I did this is I don't want to get any stain or finish on those and once I'm finished, then I'll put those back on. I'm going to be applying my stain with an old rag and I'm just going to make sure and get a nice, pretty thick coat of stain on there until I have a nice consistent color and just continue that for your entire project. Once that stain has set on there for about five minutes, go ahead and come back and wipe off any excess."
