in this video clip we'll be laying out our back pieces now I this leftover piece of 1/4" plywood from another project that I did and I'm going ahead and see if I can utilize this to meet the needs for the back pieces for my easel. Now the back piece that I'll need needs to be 30" high X 24" wide because the width of my easel's going to be 24" now if you take a look at the original picture you'll notice that back piece doesn't go all the way down, there's actually a measurement that says it's 18" off of the floor. When you calculate that out that back piece is 30" high, and of course the width of my easel which is 24". Now a standard sheet of plywood is 4 feet or 48" each of my side pieces need to be 24" so if I split this right down the middle it'll be just a hair short but I don't think you'll notice. The height that I need is 30" the piece that I have here is 43" so I'm going just to need to trim off a little bit off of one side just to get that down to 30". All in all this piece should work great I just need to cut it straight down the middle and then take off a little bit on that one side and that'll give me my 2 different sections for each side of my easel.
