"in this video clip I'll be talking about types of material now there's 2 types of materials that I'm going to be primarily be using. First one is just an oak board now when I chose this oak board I went ahead and chose one that is 10" and I chose 10" because each of my legs are 4" wide, so I will be able to get 2 legs out of each side and still have a little bit left over. The second material that I've chosen to use is a 1/4" piece of oak plywood, now people often ask me well why do you always build everything out of oak. I tell them cause I can however, oak is the easiest wood to work with it does hold up a little bit better than some of the other lumbers. And when it comes to the standing and finishing process that also was a lot easier with oak then what it is with say a maple, or other types of lumber."
