Paper Templates & Sculpting a Bird Bath from Clay

"OK, first we have to have a piece of paper, more or less the size. In order to copy, if you have the model, like for example we have now. We have to copy and make the base. The pieces that we are going to use later to construct it, then we don't need the measuring tape if we do that. Then we have the base here, and we have the back part. We have these two pieces then. The next is going to be, now we have this piece here and we have the bottom, OK? Now we have to calculate. I add this piece, I put some tape here because it was not long enough. Then we can measure we just cut this off like this. Then it has to be as stiff as possible. Then we have that piece that goes from here to here. OK, almost. It's a little bit too long but that's OK. Now it's perfect. Here a little bit too long too because, but later we're going to cut the clay anyway. Now that we have the templates, now we are going to make slabs of clay and we're going to cut it in those three pieces and then we're going to start building it."
