"Okay, now we will be glueing down our paper. We want to start with the middle rows because if we have, we will have it nice and centered that way. That way if there is any, you know slight differences with the size of the paper that in the end it will wash out here instead of being mis-centered. So we will start by just painting on a light coating of the decoupage glue. The stationary is fairly heavy so you want to put the glue down first. Now make sure that you have your paper going in the direction you want. The paper will have two different sides sometimes and you just want to lay those down very carefully. Sometimes if it's misplaced you can peel it up and just lay it down again. Check each piece to make sure that you have the right side of your paper. Okay, press them nicely into place and then just work your way down, or up to the next level. Okay we are on our third row here of our checker board and as you can see it's looking very nice. Now the edge is not coming exactly exactly and that's to be expected with cutting your paper and everything. You are not going to have exact cut, but we are going to be trimming this with a boarder and so it will be cover that up. You wont see that. So what is important at this point is to be matching up these seams accurately and then the sides will be able to straighten up with a boarder. This is a very thin layer of the decoupage glue, just enough to tack it down."
