"Hi! I'm Karen for Expert Village. Now we're going to sew our edges down and we'll sew our ribbon on. First, the edge. Just put the edge under the sewing machine. We're just going to sew it with a straight stitch. Back up a little to knot it and then sew straight all the way down. Back up to knot it, repeat on the other side, and then sew the ribbon on. You want to sew as close to the edge as possible without going off the edge. Then you can sew across the bottom. Turn the machine again and sew down the other side of the ribbon. Then finish off with sewing across the bottom edge. Next, we'll be sewing our flaps in. "
