On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Libby Caldwell, and I am here to tell you about water color journaling. Now I am going to put some of the greenery in working down. I will start by just rippling in with these colors, just a few little areas. It is broking up with the red rock as well. Just going to get the green areas in roughly. I'm not going to do it exactly, I am just going to give the impression. That?s what I want to give you. This corner is going to be keeping right pale. Because I am going to put that little piece in it. A few bits of the lighter green. Now I will use my water brush. I am going to work this area, by wetting those little peaces. I have looked at the mountain and I have looked at the greenery. Now I am just going to treat this almost in a decorative way. I'm just going to do it in a way that pleases me. These little green patches here once there all wet. I am going to dip back into the colors I used for the red rocks. Just put a few bits in like that. Dip it back in aging, mix those areas together. Will come into the regular water color set here. Into the sap green, I am dropping in little dots with the sap green. Now the greenery on the mountain actually comes up pretty high. I don't want it to come up that high in my painting, so I am adjusting that. You want to keep the whole area working, so that the colors will bleed into each other. The mountain kind of shows throw in streaks like that. I am going to just streak this, then I am going to blot it. Which will lift off quit a bit of the color.
