"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Libby Caldwell and I m here to tell you about watercolor journaling. Right, now I m going to put the first wash on the area of the red rock. So that s the piece I am focusing on and I'm going to pick up with my water brush. Just some of the orange and I m going to work between these pencils. So I'll look at the mountain and I'll start adding color like this. Pretty thin at this point and, and because they're mountains you don t have to have everything just right. You want to use the basic correct color .So I m getting in this and I want to to make sure that this area stays wet. Because I m going to put in some deeper color while this area is still wet. Okay, that add that I have a ready premixed in that little palette right there. So while this is all wet. I m going to come in. First of all I m going to use an orangey burnt sienna color and drop that one in. You want to make sure you keep it pretty wet so that the colors run together. And when your journaling like this, you're doing it for your sake. For your memories and you know, you decide what you want to put in. What you want to leave out and if you want to make something a slightly different color or a completely different color you can. Because this is your own journal so. And I really like the colors when they're intense. And I'm just going to add a bit more and dip that in the water."
