"Hello, I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you easy ways to draw turkey cartoons for this holiday season. The last in our kind of first drawing of the turkey process we've gone through...the last step we are going to do is add in some additional details. And basically, this is where we are going to go around the turkey and we are going to add in some different lines, again looking at some turkey anatomy. This will help you kind of understand where these things go. What this is going to help us do is kind of guide some of our coloring later on. Turkeys actually have a pretty complicated coat of feathers and they have a lot of different colors going on. Sort of an interesting little side note on turkeys; it is still contested exactly where they originated. Some people say "Oh, America." But other people are very much against that, saying that they were brought over from other places. So, what we are going to do is, we could also bring in some tail feathers some more; put in some more lines. You can already start to see some of the rich patterns we are going to get with our turkey and how fun it is going to be to color. Now, when we've just about finished up with this, then, now is the opportunity to go back with our eraser. Kind of go back in and lightly erase some of the lines we didn't like; you know, some of the things we decided not to go with. Don't go overboard on this, because erasers (even when you are gentle with them) can cause damage to the paper which makes colors get picked up differently like on color pencils and pens. So, yeah, don't go overboard, but get rid of some of the more egregious lines which you think, you know, definitely don't belong there anymore. Then, blow away all of the eraser residue."
