"Hello, I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you easy ways to draw turkey cartoons for this holiday season. What sort of a turkey would we have unless we had some good wings on the side. Turkeys aren't known for their flying prowess, but they still have wings which are actually very yummy. So, let's draw on our wings. Now, there's a couple of different ways you can do this here. You can always do where you have a flat wing drawn in on the side; you know, it's on their side. That to me is a little boring so we aren't going to do that. So what we are going to do is we are going to have wings that come out on the side. This is a turkey in motion! Maybe he's trying to fly away. So, what you are going to do is, back here where the tail ended, you are going to draw a line almost perpendicular to that one. Coming in right around two-thirds to the top of the body, no more. The wing is not going to be on the back of his spine, it's on his body. Then, what we are going to do is a series of half lines, steadily getting closer to the body. We are going to draw in the wing. So you see what we did here was we had our straight line come in and then back here, we had some little arches that aren't connecting. Then we bring it back out here in a series of some very wide arches that generally, basically go out and then taper towards the tip of the wing. This is one of those shapes that it may actually help to do some practice on like another piece of paper until you feel more comfortable with it. But, yeah, it is absolutely essential to have your turkey have some good wings. For an easier wing, you could definitely consider drawing it in on the side of the body instead. "
