"Hello I am Matt Cail on be have of Expert Village. I’m gonna show you today how to do a Landscape painting. Before we can get our oil painting going and building our own little world of little animals and creatures we need to make sure we have the right supplies on hand. So let’s go over the supplies we are going to need. First off I highly recommend pallet paper especially if you are not painting tons. You can get like wooden pallets, you see them like thumb holes in there those work great too, these are more economic option. We are going to need to have certain types of media which with to mix our paint these come with a bunch of different verities Gems and Saw the most popular which are Turpentine although it's not always the most environmentally friendly. We are also going to need a verities of brushes, a whole lot of brushes on hand here. There is like tons, big ones, small ones, round ones, etc. Also going to have to have some paints on hand. Now for paints I am going to be using oil paints today, but you can also use acrylic and water colors, each ones have different advantages pros and cons to them. Oils I like the deep rich colors I get with oils although they take longer to dry. Acrylics you can get some of the similar tones and they don’t take as long to dry colors as oils. Oils can take days to dry. That’s what we are going to be using today."
