"The last step is inking. For inking purposes, here what you do is you are gonna actually use a black felt on a very very fine tip. And then what you do is you're basically are gonna kind of just coming in here and finishing up the outlines to make certain areas stand out more. I mean especially a lot of areas like the white cotton areas, it's just not gonna stand out without some little bit of outlining help. This is a great way for some of the lines you've drawn in just to stand out some more. Santa's hair, the sides of his face, his beard, his nostril on the bottom of his nose tapering all the way up around on his hat. You get the idea, basically I mean inking in this context is gonna be mostly outlining you might draw in some occasional like half shading if you want to put some shadows in there. I don't recommend a lot, Santa is very very bright and happy soul. You could do like in the mouth. And what we're gonna do is you basically gonna continue to extend this outlining all throughout like the bag and then the rest of the body. And that's how you draw a cartoon Santa Clause."
