"JOEL SIEGEL: Okay. So we're going to do a couple of more here with this, kinda working with the upbeat eighth note in the kick drum. We're going to do two eighth notes on beat one and then the upbeat of two and the upbeat of three, all right? Take a listen. This is what the kick and the snare sound like. All right? In the next clip, we'll throw it all together. Think about what's going to line up with the hi-hat, and how that interplay between the kick drum and snare drum is going to work itself out. "
