"JOEL SIEGEL: All right. So we're going to continue on. We're going to change things up just a little bit. We're going to add that second eighth note in beat one. So we're going to be playing one-&, and then we're going to kind of borrow what we just did, which was that upbeat of four and downbeat of one. So were going to go way over to the upbeat of four and play that as well, okay? And still, we're leaving out that downbeat of three. So these are all fairly significant fill changes, all right? Because of that. So I'll play just the kick and the snare to give you an idea what it sounds like. It sounds like this. All right, makes sense? It's almost like a gym pep rally rock or something like that. Anyway in this next clip, we'll be throwing in the hi-hat. So think about where things are going to line up and then we'll play it together."
