"JOEL SIEGEL: All right. So we're going to go ahead and beef it up a little further. We're going to do two sets of eighth notes now on the kick drum. We're going to do the one that we just did on beat one, so we're going to play one-& with the kick. And then on beat three, we're going to do like we did in that clip before where we played three-&, okay? So you're actually going to be playing a total of four eighth notes with the kick drum on the downbeat of one, the upbeat of one and on the downbeat of three, the upbeat of three, all right? This is what it sounds like. All right? Think about what's going to be lining up, and we'll take a look at what that looks and sounds like in this next clip."
