"JOEL SIEGEL: We move on to German, cover them briefly. We're still on the side of the hi-hat, and we're going to do the upstroke, the downstroke, and the full stroke. Here's what they sound and look like. Now German downstroke, as you might remember when I talked about earlier, the approach on the drum itself, the same goes for the hi-hat. This is going to be really your most accented hit, especially when it comes to the side of the hi-hat, that's going to be your biggest sound."
