"Hi, John Aguilar again. Now we are going to do waltz, a very simple waltz and we are going to start as we always do on the piano in the key of C. Once again our left hand thumb on C right here next to two black notes and we are going to walk down to our fourth finger. We can call this a walking down baseline. Okay now we are going to be doing a waltz and every time you hear waltz you want to think one, two, three, one, two, three, one, two, three, one, two, three. That's the count for a waltz. Now we are going to add the right hand. Thumb and third finger. Thumb here on C. Remember we are starting on C. These are both C's. Third finger here. Okay? So we are going to play each note in the left hand once and these two twice. One, two, three, one, two, three, one, two, three, one, two, three, one, two, three, one, two, three, one, two, three, one, two, three. Ideally you would want to play all three notes of the C chord. But sometimes that is difficult to do in beginning piano. So if we just do these two it will work fine. One, two, three, one, two, three, one, two, three, one. Remember a waltz is a dance so you want to make it danceable. One, two, three. Imagine dancing to the waltz. So we did that in C. Let's go up to F. C, D, E, F. There we are F. Both thumbs are on F. Feels the same. One, two, three, one, two, three, one, two, three, one, two. Back to C. And that's a simple waltz."
