"Hi, I'm John Aguilar for Expert Village and we are going to do a beginning piano lesson today. And I always like to start off with something that most people enjoy and that is a boogie. Boogies are used for many things. There are very involved boogies like this one. Or simpler boogies like this one. I guess I have to do that again because I made a mistake right? Yeah, actually and actually just do me a favor just play your piano again. Okay, I can bring it down whenever you want. That's fine, alright? Alright. One more time? Hi, I'm John Aguilar and today we are going to do a beginning piano lesson and something I like to start with right away is boogie. A nice simple boogie. And we are going to involve just one hand. These are the fingers of your hands. One, two, three, four, five. But today we're only going to use the left hand. Notice on the piano you've got black notes and you've got white notes. Right next to two black notes we have a C note. Here's another C right here and here's another C. We're going to place the pinky finger over our left hand on that C. Count up five notes and put our thumb on this G here and play those two notes at the same time. We're going to play it two times and then we are going to add middle finger to the E flat sliding to the E and that will comprise a simple boogie. Everybody just loves the boogie. It's very simple to do. You can do it on your first lesson. So we did that in the key of C. Let's go to the key of F. C, D, E, F. There we are F. Count five notes up and there's our thumb. We will do it in F. There's our new black note. F boogie. Let's go to G, right next door. Back to F. Back home to C. And that's a boogie for your first piano lesson."
