JOE WILES: I'm proud to bring you number 1 on the top 80 most downloaded guitar tabs on the Internet. It's "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin. Let's take a look. As you can tell, it's another acoustic fingerpicking song. We're going to start with our ring finger on the 7th fret of the D string, then we're going to lay our index finger across the 5th fret of the G, B and high E string, okay? I don't have time to explain my right hand but just watch closely, okay? Four in a row. Next one, we're going to take our middle finger and put it on the 6th fret of the D string, pinkie to the 7th fret of the high E string. Hit this D string and the high E string together. Next chord, slide our pinkie up to the 8th fret, release our middle finger and that pad will go across the four strings here on the 5th fret. So far, this is where we're at. We're going to slide down to an open D major chord, which is the open D string, 2nd fret of the G string, 3rd fret of the B string with our ring finger and then the 2nd fret of the high E string. It sounds like this. It strums like this. The next chord, 1st fret of the B string with our index finger, 2nd fret of the G string with our middle finger and 3rd fret of the D string with our ring finger. It sounds like this. Then we're going to bring our middle finger to the 2nd fret of the low A string. Hit the A string, the G string and the B string together. Then release the low A--or the open A, and then we're going to bring our middle finger to the 1st fret of the B string and our ring finger to the 2nd fret of the G string. Hit the open A, G and B strings together. Hit the open A string, slide the ring finger up to the 8th fret and then back down to the 7th fret. Slowly, the introduction to "Stairway to Heaven" sounds like this. Grab a pan flute and we'll do that to speed. Check it out. Well, I hope you had fun counting down with me the top 80 most downloaded guitar tabs on the Internet.
