"JOE WILES: Hello, this is Joe Wiles with the Rock and Roll Conservatory on behalf of Expert Village. In this video segment, we're going to take a look at number 19, which is "Dammit" by Blink 182. All right, this riff starts with your ring finger on the 3rd fret of the A string. We're going to hit the open D string next and then bring our middle finger down to the 2nd fret of the D string. Watch how I do that. So two, two more and then one more. This middle finger bit is going to answer every note we go through, okay? So remember to keep your A finger hovered over the 2nd fret of the D string, okay? The next one, we're going to come down to the 3rd fret of our E string and answer with our middle finger again on the 2nd fret of the D string. Okay? Then the open A string, do the same answer. Then come down to the 1st fret of the low E string, and we're going to do that answer in reverse, actually, from the 2nd fret to the open string. Watch how I do that. So the very last one, instead of going. I go backwards, one, two, then open D. Slowly, that whole riff put together sounds like this. To speed, that same riff sounds like this. Join me in our next segment, we're going to take a look at "B.Y.O.B." by System of a Down. I'll see you there."
