How to Play "Heart Breaker" on the Guitar

"JOE WILES: Let's take a look at number 42 on our countdown. It's "Heartbreaker" by Led Zeppelin. This song is going to start off on the 3rd fret of the low E string. So we're going to hit the open A string, third fret A string, open D string, then 1-2 on the D string, the 1st fret and 2nd fret. Then, use your ring finger to come back to the third fret of the low E, okay? It sounds like this. You're going to hit the A string open four times, one, two, three, four, 3rd fret, open B, 1-2 on the D, back to that 3rd fret on the low E string and a bend. Together, it all sounds like this, one, two, three, four and again. The next riff is going to start on your second fret of your A string. Use your pinky to come up to the 5th fret and give it a bend, second fret D string, 3rd fret, 4th fret, pinky down to the 5th fret of the low E string. We repeat the same picking pattern, four times on that 2nd fret, one, two, three, four, bend on the D string, two, three, four, 5th fret on the low E string. Put together slowly these two riffs change up like this. And remember, when you hit your open A string, it's actually the one count. This bend here is called a pre-note, okay, one, two, three, four.
