"JOE WILES: Hi, my name is Joe Wiles with the Rock & Roll Conservatory, on behalf of Expert Village, here again to show you "Gimme Shelter" by the Rolling Stones. Let's take a look. To start, we're going to pad the D, the G, and the B strings on the sixth fret with--where the pad of your index finger here, okay, like that. We're also going to use our middle finger to come down to the seventh fret here. And we want to keep our ring finger handy 'cause we're going to put it on the eighth fret of this G string, okay. Keep it handy there as we go to the riff. It sounds like this. Put down your ring finger. Pick to the D string, these two on the sixth fret. And then, bring these two fingers back down on the eighth and seventh fret. It looks like this, slowly. Again, that looks like this. Then, we're going to slide this whole thing down two frets, one, two. We're going to do the exact same movements here on the fourth, sixth, and fifth fret here, okay, like this. Pull those off. Put it back on. Again, this one looks like this. Then, we're going to come down to an A chord. Which is--it looks like this. We're going to use the second fret of the D string, second fret of the G string. We're, actually, going to put our ring fingers in the fourth fret with the B string. Like that, we're going to pull it off to that second fret. Okay? To follow that little riff, we're going to hit the second fret of the G string. Then bring your ring and your pinky to the fourth frets of the G and the B string, and start doing the same thing you were just doing. We're running out of time to put that in one full segment, so we're going to put that in our next segment. Join me there."
