"Alright, so we've got those two beats sped up a little bit, we're going to go ahead and take that other beat the we learned, that four on the floor. So we've got the quarter notes on the kick drum, we're going to speed that up a little bit, see how it feels, kind of just get comfortable with continuing to speed up our beats. This is quarter notes on the bass drum. One, two, three, four. You got two and four on the snare, on the head and we're doing eighth notes on the high hat. This is what it sounds like. Alright, so we're working on speeding up our beats, getting more comfortable with kind of more moderate tempos. We're going to take that other beat that we were doing, that four on the floor beat, where you have quarter notes on the bass drum, we're going to speed that up a little bit. Going to take that from seventy-five up to eighty- five beats per minute. You've got quarter notes on the kick. One, two, three, four. You've got a couple quarter notes on the snare, two and four. You've got eighth notes on the high hat. Here's what it sounds like at eighty-five. Alright, you want to try it, you ready, feeling good? Let's do same thing, you and me , I'll give you four beats. One, two, three, four. Alright, next we'll deal with the cross stick."
