"JOEL SIEGEL: Finally, using your traditional grip. This is also an option with hitting the cymbal. Of course, this is going to be with your left hand. You're not going to do a lot of this unless, of course, you're leading with your left hand, and if you're either a left-handed player and you're working on this as a technique. But you're going to use it for kinda light cymbal fills, rolls--it will come into play. So just keep that in mind. Here's you up, down and full stroke."
