JOEL SIEGEL: All right. So let's do the full sfuzzi exercise, play along. Before we do that, I'll just tell you kind of what you should be counting in your head. I'll give you explicitly the full bar, all right? So you should be thinking in your head this: one-and-two-e, and a three-and-four-e and a one, okay? One-and-two-e and three-and-four-e and a one. That's the count, okay? That should help you subdivide and play more evenly, okay? So now, what we're going to do we'll play it together. We're at 80 bpm. And just for reference, this is a total of four bars, okay? Let's do it. I'll count you off. One, two, ready, play. All right, you got it under your hands. Slow down if you need to. Those sixteenth notes aren't exactly slow. So you can take it back. Practice it on your own.
