Alright, so this beat is kind of along the similar lines of like we did "When The Levee Breaks". It's mostly just kind of kick work with the right foot, with sixteenth notes, just kind of varying those and kind of toying with the feel using the kick drum with the sixteenth notes. Okay, so the first thing that's going on. I'll play the beat for you just one more time so you can hear it. It's open hi-hat. Okay, so beat one what's going on. Hi-hat and the, you got eighth notes on the hi-hat, the loose hi-hat. Snare you got two and four so don't worry about that. It's the kick drum. So you got down beat of one, and then the ah of one. Which means one-e and ah. That last sixteenth note. Okay, so one, two, three, four, one ah. Okay, it's got that real, you know. With those sixteenth notes now that we're playing it'll like really kind of throws you a little bit. A nice, a nice feeling. It's very syncopated, two, three, four. Three, four. Three, four. And then on beats two, it's the snare on the down beat, and then he brings the kick back in on the up beat. And this is a pattern that you hear a lot in pop music. One ah and. So it's the beats right here. I'll just play it with the hi-hat. One and four. Okay, slow it down just a little bit, just to drive it home. Three, four. One-e and ah two and. One-e and ah two and. One-e and ah two and. Next clip we'll bring the snare back in and get the first two full beats of this beat.
