"My name is Jim Dufresne I'm here to tell you about country guitar. (playing guitar) The perfect guitar tone is a personal preference if I like pancakes and you like pooch eggs that's okay. So this is the sound that works for me, the sound I like is always sometimes I'll add in the bridge pickup if I'm a little bit more quite. But most of the times I'm working off of one pick up and that's why you see a lot of the old guitars from 40-50 years ago. They just had one pick up and it was always this one. Rock and rollers come along and they want something more with a little bit more of violence so then they add the bridge pick up they give you a little more variety and sound. This is what works for me so I like that I'll crack that tonk control maybe up to 20% for a little more definition."
