"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Jim Dufresne, I'm here to tell you about how to make a living playing music. Well and of course playing in a band is really a lot of fun, there again you have to figure out what your functions are going to be if you want to play lead guitar and thus that's where your talent lies, then you won't have any problems getting into a band playing the guitar. If you want to sing and play rhythm guitar and lead the band you shouldn't have any problems starting a band cause there's plenty of musicians around. But the most desirable musician the one who gets hired all the time is the bass player, bass player and a good one is hard to find. Your local bar, your local tavern is a great place to go down and find a job for your band I always encourage that. It's so much playing for your local circle of friends at your local bar that is tops or up near there. Bars don't particularly pay that much but the fun factor is very high now the whole thing about recording contracts is a whole different ball of wax we're not going to talk about that today. There's plenty of good books on that, they're plenty of sites to go see online if you're that talented. You will be watching me anyways."
