Summary: Play the harmonica like a Blues Brother; learn how to play a blues shuffle on your harmonica in this free video harmonica lesson.
" Hi this is Jim Luke again and now we’re going to talk about something I call the shuffle. The shuffle is a way to practice and a way to learn new licks; also a way to have fun and impress your friends and relatives. Alright, so here is a shuffle. Now all of that starts out with a very basic little rhythm that goes like this. Now for those of you who are rhythmically challenged that’s a really good way to start to try to learn a syncopation. Because that is really all that is a little syncopated beat. Once you learn to play that beat then you can pretty much free lance; do whatever you want to do and keep coming back to that nice little lick to kind of tie everything together. A great way to practice, it’s a great way to play fast or slow and work whatever technique you’re interested in working on."

on 8/2/2008 When you play this, do you then play only one tone, or several?
