"In this clip we will be demonstrating how to do the majuscule capital letters in the cursive, italic calligraphy hand. We will be learning "A" through "F" to start. You want to remember when you're doing your capitals that they're actually smaller than the ascender, so you're only coming up part way to the ascender line. So you're going to find your 45 degree angle, come down; it's the same type of lettering as we did in the minuscules, but they're just a little bit bigger. Sometimes I will add some flourishing. The same thing, you go up to the cap line, and you're going to come behind it, always keeping the 45 degree angle, and then you finish off the serif at the back. "C" is just a very big minuscule "C" in maguscules; in the large letters. Again, you make that basic line, come back behind it, and then you finish it. You don't want to make it too small of an area because it won't be able to hold the big letter. A 45 degree angle for "E", over, and "F"."
