In this clip, we'll be working from the letters g through l in the minuscule, small letters of the calligraphy italic cursive hand. G is also a descender letter and it's just like the A, when you come down, you're going to make a slight curve and then you finish the letter. H is an ascender. What's nice about having this grid, you can just follow the lines to help you. I, you want to always remember you can dot your I in various ways, whichever way you prefer. J is a descender letter and, again, you want to turn early and gradually, and J is dotted. K is a, has an ascender. Come up and again, in these lines, and be sure to finish the serif, the top part. An L is forty-five degree angle line and we come all the way down and up on the edge to get the nice thick and the thin, which is why the letters look so pretty.
