This is why many magicians call themselves "illusionists," embracing the idea that the audience enjoys the trick because they do not know how such an amazing feat could have been performed by natural means.

"I’m Joe Marshall with Expert Village.com and today we are going to look through the eyes of somebody else and talk about remote viewing. I just wanted to explain what remote viewing is. Some people have a different interpretation of it. They mistake it for predicting the future. Remote viewing is when you can see distant locations or people, things through other people’s eyes. It was really big a while back with the CIA. They had an entire group of like 60 remote viewers come in and try to remote view different locations around the world to see if there was weapons and terrorist activity in other places. It failed miserably. There isn’t any evidence that anybody can really remote view although there is a ton of people that say they can do it. What we are going to be doing is just some party tricks you can do with your friends and family that gives them the impression that you are actually being able to see through their eyes and not that you are working for the CIA or anything.
