"Hello there! This is Joe Wiles with the Rock and Roll Conservatory on behalf of Expert Village. We're going to take a look at "I Love Rock n Roll" by Joan Jet and the Blackhearts. It's a chord based song there's not too much to it, it's really simple, but it's a really cool riff. Let's take a look at the guitar and take a look. It's going to start out with an E major chord. It looks like this, open E, middle finger on the second fret of the A string, ring finger in the second fret of the D string, index finger on the first fret of the G string, and then open B and E. The next chord we'll use is an A major chord, it looks like this. Open A string, second fret on the D string, second fret on the G string, second fret on the B string. Then we're going to do a B power chord. It looks like this. Second fret on the A string, fourth fret on the D string, and fourth fret on the G string, we're going to reach up and mute that low string with our middle finger. O.k. There's also another piece in there, it's a third fret on the low E string, we're going to bend it. That occurs between the E major and the A chord, and back again. Slowly, it sounds like this. To speed, it sounds like this. Nothing to it. That's an easy one. In our next segment, we're going to talk about the Ramones "I Want to be Sedated". I'll see you there."
