"Hello, this is Joe Wiles with the Rock and Rock Conservatory on behalf of Expert Village. To wrap all that up there are probably thousands of different approaches to scales. I only given you about 7 you can be creative and create your own skip 3 down 2 however you like to do it. Each different way you perform the scale it gives your fingers more dexterity both with your left hand and your right hand cause your skipping strings going back and forth. It also gives you really interesting combinations of notes to work with as your chaining solos and rifts together. Now as you approach these different formulas to the scale realize we just went through one scale today. There are tons of different scales to use this through, we only used an easy scale the C major pentatonic, the A minor pentatonic. You can use this with a major scale a minor scale all these formulas and these approaches apply to every single scale. So imagine how much work is ahead of you. I hope you had a good time thanks for coming to watching, take it easy."
