"Hey, this is Joe Wiles with the Rock and Roll Conservatory, on behalf of Expert Village. Let's look at Kansas, Carry On My Wayward Son. Now this is a single note, riff based piece. It looks like this. On the low E, you play the 5th fret, 3rd fret, OK? A string, 3rd fret. Repeat. Then 5th fret on the A string. At that point, you slide up from the 5th fret of the A string to the 7th. 5th fret on the D string. We're going to do a pull-off here on the A string from the 7th to the 5th. Go down to the 8th fret on the E string. Then we're going to come back down, 5th fret A string, 3rd fret E string, 2nd fret E string. Slowly, that sounds like this. To speed, that sounds like this. That one is a lot of fun. It's a real easy pentatonic based riff. In our next video segment, we're going to do Monkey Wrench by Foo Fighters. See you there."
