"JOE WILES: We're talking about the top 80 most downloaded guitar tabs on the internet and comin' in at number 25 is the Rolling Stones' "Paint It Black." Let's take a look. For the first bit of the introductory riff of this song before the drums kick in, everything's going to answer with an open E string--okay. We're going to start with our ring finger on the 5th fret of the B string--up to the 7th fret--8th fret--10th fret--and then back down to the 8th fret--repeat the 5th fret--4th fret--5th fret--7th. Now I'm going to repeat all what I've just done slowly and I'll call up the fret numbers. 5th, 7th, 8th, 10. Now I'm going to reap--go through it slowly and I'm going to count out--I'm going to call out all the fret numbers okay. It goes like this in the 5th fret, 7th, 8th, 10th, 8th, 7th, 5, 5 again, 4, 5, 7, and then we're going to come down here. I want you to pad the high two strings with your index finger on the 2nd fret, okay, like this. Now we're going to hammer-on on the B string 2nd, 4th to 5th--and then we're going to hit the high E string on the 2nd fret. Then we're going to pull all these back. Hold them off and then hit the 4th fret of the B string to finish. That little bit sounds like this. All put together that riff, slowly, sounds like this. Stick around for the next segment, we're going to take a look at number 24. I hope to see you there."
