How to Play "Animal I Have Become" on the Guitar

"JOE WILES: We're going to take a look at number 28 on the top 80 most downloaded guitar tabs on the internet and it's Three Days Grace with "Animal I Have Become". Let's take a look. Now the first thing I want to mention is that I'm tuned standard on my guitar but my low E string is dropped down to D. Now on the actual recording they have their whole guitar tuned down a whole step plus this drop D. So unless you do that you won't sound exactly like it does on the recording but adapted it sounds like this. We're going to hit the low E and the low A string open. Then we're going to bring our fingers up into the 7th and 8th fret of the low E string--into the 7th fret of the A string--and then back into the 8th to the 7th on the low E string.
